My furry baby turns ONE!

My little furry baby just turned mighty ONE on the 30th of November. I wanted it to be special and was supposed to buy a cake online but as usual was too busy to do it and when I actually called up a dog bakery, they said it was too late to make an order for next day delivery!! I called so many others but nope, no one could do it! After panicking and frantically calling people for about 1 hour, I knew I had no choice but to do a cake myself …. eerr panic!panic! Thank god for Google! I found loads of them which included bacon, bananas, peanut butter and all sorts of goodies.

And this is how I made mine :

The cake
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup shredded carrots
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup honey
¼ peanut butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Combine carrots, oil, honey, peanut butter and eggs. Then fold in wheat flour and baking soda. Grease 6” tin and bake for 40 minutes.
Check @30minutes to see progress and once cooked, leave aside for 10minutes.

 The topping
2 large ham slices
Low fat cream cheese
Assorted doggie biscuits for deco

Slap the slices of ham on the cake, cover with cream cheese and decorate with assorted doggie biscuits. Crumble a charcoal biscuit and sprinkle all over. S was for super Sophia (  ;

SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! And I was a proud mummy, one for making her happy and two for making a cake which surpassed my expectations. I see a business opportunity here. Hahaha ..
